Graves' Disease ΓÇô Conjunctival Changes
Conjunctival changes consist of oedema (chemosis); injection of the sclera (Fig. 17.36), particularly over the insertion of the lateral rectus; and swelling of the medial caruncles. These changes are most marked in congestive ophthalmopathy.
